Di antara tanda-tanda orang yang bertakwa ialah sebagaimana yang tersebut pada ayat-ayat berikut: Keterangan mengenai QS. Al-Baqarah. Surat Al Baqarah yang 286 ayat itu turun di Madinah yang sebahagian besar diturunkan pada permulaan tahun Hijrah, kecuali ayat 281 diturunkan di Mina pada Hajji wadaa' (hajji Nabi Muhammad s.a.w. yang terakhir).
Selanjutnya. Al-Baqarah: 21. 20. يَكَادُ الْبَرْقُ يَخْطَفُ اَبْصَارَهُمْ ۗ كُلَّمَآ اَضَاۤءَ لَهُمْ مَّشَوْا فِيْهِ ۙ وَاِذَآ اَظْلَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ قَامُوْا ۗوَلَوْ شَاۤءَ اللّٰهُ لَذَهَبَ
Explanatory Note. At this point they receive God's decisive answer which leaves no room for fear or worry: "Answered He: Have no fear. I shall be with you. I hear all and see all." (Verse 46) Thus, God Almighty who has power over all creatures and who creates the universe and all creatures in it, using nothing more than His will to bring them into existence, tells them that He is with them.
